In his eighth year as a pro - all with the Bengals - former UNC linebacker Brian Simmons has been one of the best Cincinnati defenders for the past decade. He makes plays, but he also has a responsibility in the locker room. Helping rookie linebackers like Odell Thurman and David Pollack adjust from the college game to the NFL is essential for the newcomers and the team. (Cincinnati Post)
