Alabama to hire North Carolina assistant Robert Gillespie as running backs coach

Alabama has found a new running backs coach. The Crimson Tide is set to hire UNC running backs coach Robert Gillespie to fill the same role in Tuscaloosa, BamaOnLine has learned. Yahoo! Sports first reported the hire. He spent the last three seasons at UNC, and this past year, he coached 1,000-yard rushers in Michael Carter and Javonte Williams.
