Willie Parker, who didn't even start at North Carolina as a senior in 2003, suddenly has the full attention of the NFL. Steelers coach Bill Cowher has declared Parker the starter this week against the Patriots and beyond, ahead of two guys with strong NFL resumes: Duce Staley and Jerome Bettis. (Hartford Courant)
