Walker Kessler led UNC in scoring with nine points. This was the first time no Tar Heel scored in double figures since March 4, 1966, a 21-20 loss to Duke in the ACC Tournament in Raleigh. John Yokley led UNC with six points in that game. Armando Bacot led UNC with 10 rebounds, his seventh game this season in double figures, and 21st career.
