Four-star linebacker Malaki Hamrick commits to UNC

Four-star edge rusher Malaki Hamrick gave North Carolina its first in-state commitment of UNC's 2022 recruting class on Friday. During a ceremony at Shelby High, Hamrick committed to UNC over fellow finalists Appalachian State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Penn State. Hamrick also held offers from Auburn, Duke, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech.
