Shelby defensive standout Malaki Hamrick wanted to make one last phone call before committing. "I hit up (former Kings Mountain football standout and UNC freshman Kobe Paysour) and asked ‘Is it everything they said it would be?,’" he said. "(Paysour) said he’s loving it, it was everything they promised. And if I come it would be the same for me too."
