Tar Heel Commits Becoming Good Friends
Posted Sep 16, 2005
UNC football commits, Deunta Williams and Kendric Burney will travel to Chapel Hill together on Saturday to watch their future teammates take the field against Wisconsin. It's not the tedious drive up I-40 that will wear on Williams, it's likely to be the conversation. Burney plans to take advantage of bragging rights earned with Southwest's 20-3 victory over White Oak last Friday. "Two hours worth of hard time going to Carolina," a smiling Burney said of what the ride will be like.
