Top 25 Players In UNC Football History: No. 21 - George Barclay


North Carolina football's first All-America, offensive lineman and linebacker started both ways for three seasons with the Tar Heels. Barclay was a consensus All-America in 1934, an All-America in 1933, and All-Southern Conference in 1933 and 1934. His jersey number 99 has been retired, and Barclay Road in Chapel Hill is named after him. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
