Former UNC offensive lineman was a two-time, first-team All-American in 1981 & 1982, a two-time first-team All-ACC selection in 1981 & 1982, and the winner of the Patterson Medal in 1983. One of the most athletic offensive linemen in UNC history, Drechsler played every position on the line, but primarily at guard his last two seasons. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
