Indianapolis Colts claim Dexter Reid
Posted Aug 31, 2005
The Indianapolis Colts claimed former UNC safety Dexter Reid off waivers Tuesday from New England. "He's a physical guy, who is a good special teams player," Indianapolis head coach Tony Dungy said. "He's a good guy and a good athlete and we'll get a chance to see what he can do, for a few days at least." If he makes the team, he'll join former Tar Heels Jeff Saturday and David Thornton on the Colts roster.
