Charlie Heck capitalizes on starting opportunity with Houston Texans

Barring an injury or a setback, second-year right tackle Charlie Heck should be starting when the Texans begin the NFL season Sept. 12 against Jacksonville at NRG Stadium. After an up-and-down rookie year, Heck began to get his coaches’ attention in the offseason program, and he hasn’t let up. He’ll start a second straight preseason game at Dallas.
