Virginia safety won’t face league discipline after dirty hit on UNC’s Josh Downs


Virginia safety Joey Blount is not likely to receive any discipline from the ACC after an illegal hit on UNC receiver in the Tar Heels’ 59-39 win Saturday. UNC highlighted the blindside hit in its weekly submission of plays to the league office for review. An ACC spokesperson said "there are no forthcoming announcements" for disciplinary actions.
