UNC's football program doesn't mind committing
Posted Jul 30, 2005
Preseason camp has yet to begin. Signing day is five months away. But North Carolina already has assembled almost a full football recruiting class for 2006. Jacksonville White Oak High Deunta Williams' commitment Thursday gave the Tar Heels 19 known commitments before August began. That leaves coach John Bunting a half-dozen scholarships to hand out, because the NCAA's limit is 25 per class. Many committed players attended camp at North Carolina this summer and pledged afterward.
