Going back a decade, all the long car rides and the miles racked up in Mary Rice’s minivan to AAU basketball practice and events, to football all-star teams and workouts led to this moment. On Thursday, the 247Sports Composite’s No. 1 offensive tackle Zach Rice announced his commitment to UNC. “We stayed doing something,” the elder Rice said.
