Sean May named male ACC Athlete of the Year

North Carolina's Sean May and Wake Forest's Kelly Dostal, who led their teams to national championships, have been named the male and female athletes of the year by the Atlantic Coast Conference. The league announced the 2004-05 award Tuesday based on results from voting by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. May won the Anthony J. McKevlin Award as the league's top male student-athlete, earning 41 votes.
