Hubert Davis knew Roy Williams would retire two days after regular season


knew two days after UNC finished the regular season on March 6 that coach was going to retire. He was probably one of the few people who knew. That revelation came out of an interview Davis gave Jeff Goodman (Video). Davis said that over the last three or four years, Williams had been hinting he was close to retirement. (Tar Heel Tribune)
