Much like the powerful stiff-arm move Kyren Williams used to deny North Carolina linebacker Tomon Fox, the Tar Heels had promising moments throughout and a second-half lead briefly in their grasp. But they didn’t gain enough grip to knock off Notre Dame. North Carolina lost 44-34 in non-conference football Saturday night at Notre Dame Stadium.
