Carolina trustees honor Roy & Wanda Williams, 4 others with prestigious Davie Award

On Nov. 4, the UNC Board of Trustees announced six recipients of the Board’s highest honor, the William Richardson Davie Award. Roy (UNC ’72, ’73 M.A.T.) and Wanda Williams ('72) met in ninth grade algebra class at T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville, NC. They have been married for 48 years and have two children who are also Tar Heel alumni. (UNC.edu)
