R.J. Davis scored 14 points in the final seven minutes and was the only Tar Heel to make a field goal the rest of the way to finish with a career-high 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting, including 6-of-9 from 3-point range. His previous high was 19 against Virginia Tech last season. “I wanted to redeem myself from the last game,” the sophomore guard said.
