Tar Heels unlikely to be high-stepping to another title


Despite next year's inexperienced lineup, said the Tar Heels can return to the NCAA Tournament. "There's no doubt in my mind," he said. "This team is going to shock a lot of people. I know everybody is writing us off, and I don't blame them. We lost 93 percent of our scoring. It's definitely going to be a new-look team." Williams, however, wasn't as outwardly confident, saying he didn't know if the Tar Heels could make it to the NCAAs. But he said he's not going to change his philosophy in 2006. (Contra Costa Times)
