USBWA Names Armando Bacot Oscar Robertson National Player Of The Week

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has selected UNC forward Armando Bacot as its Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week. Bacot scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in UNC's win over Georgia Tech last Saturday. He became the first Tar Heel to record at least 29 points and 12 rebounds in consecutive games since Charlie Scott in 1970.
