Versatile Tarboro back commits to Heels

Shaun Draughn, a versatile rising senior at Tarboro High, has committed to North Carolina. Tarboro coach Jeff Craddock said Draughn told him Wednesday night of a football scholarship offer by UNC coaches. Draughn, who recently attended UNC's camp, didn't wait long to accept the offer. Draughn played tailback, backup quarterback and outside linebacker for the Vikings last season, amassing nearly 1,000 yards rushing. Craddock plans to play him at running back and free safety this season.
