A promising rookie season has the National Football League world raving about New York Jets running back Michael Carter. The former North Carolina star finished 2021 third among all rookies with 639 rushing yards (4.3 avg.) and led his team in scrimmage yards (964) and total first downs (46) despite missing three games with a midseason ankle injury.
