It took Duke 11 seconds to take its first lead in the 256th playing of college basketball’s best rivalry and that differential quickly got out of hand. The Blue Devils led by as many as 23 points in the first half in handing the Tar Heels an 87-67 defeat in Mike Krzyzewski’s final game in Chapel Hill. Brady Manek led UNC with 21 points and six rebounds.
