Are the Tar Heels soft?

North Carolina has heard the criticism and read the comments. "The team is soft." But is it true? It’s tough to measure toughness or a lack thereof, so we looked at play in the paint. UNC has attempted 68 dunks this season, making 60. They’ve also have a .638 shooting percentage on "short" shots, meaning dunks and layups. That ranks eighth in the ACC. (North State Journal)
