North Carolina's Winning Streak Ends in ACC Tournament Semifinals


No. 25 North Carolina’s ACC Tournament title hopes came undone in the semifinals on Friday. No. 7 seed Virginia Tech built a 20-point lead in the second half and earned its first trip to the ACC Tournament finals by handing UNC a 72-59 defeat. The Hokies blew open a competitive game late in the first half with a 25-8 run that spanned nine minutes. (Inside Carolina)
