Tar Heels Cranking Up Defensive Efficiency for March Madness

North Carolina’s late-season charge through Mike Krzyzewski’s retirement party and into the East Region’s Sweet 16 has corresponded with a defensive resurgence for Hubert Davis’ squad. UNC has won eight of its last nine games. The Tar Heels have held their opponents to 40.7% shooting, including 29.9% from the 3-point line, during that stretch.
