Hubert Davis Named Clarence "Big House" Gaines College Basketball Coach of the Year

Hubert Davis of the national runner-up North Carolina Tar Heels has been named Clarence "Big House" Gaines College Basketball Coach of the Year by the National Sports Media Association. Davis is just the fifth person to lead a school to the Final Four in his first season as men's head coach. The Gaines Awards will be presented June 27 in Winston-Salem.
