Ademola Okulaja: The Heart of the Team

Ademola Okulaja, a four-year starter for the North Carolina Tar Heels between 1995-96 and 1998-99 and a long-time stalwart in German and European basketball, died this week aged 46. Okulaja was viewed by coaches, teammates, and close observers as a crucial team leader: an unselfish, team-first player whose effort and commitment set the standard.
