Late-Season Experience Speeding Up Power Echols' Development

North Carolina linebacker Power Echols certainly got a taste of big-time college football as a true freshman last season. Echols played 64 snaps versus Wake Forest and 49 against South Carolina late in the season. That’s 113 snaps in big-time situations, which was enough to give him a bit of a been-there, done-that feel to the development in his game.
