Lucas: Reading Trends Produces Pros

If Butch Davis has his way, Kentwan Balmer will soon have plenty of company in the NFL. Balmer was a first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers during the NFL Draft on April 26. Although the Tar Heels are heavily represented in the pros, it was the first opening round selection from UNC since 2002. Soon, however, Davis plans to spend plenty of draft Saturdays watching his protégés fill the green room.
