Is UNC men's basketball better off with experienced talent rather than elite young talent?

Last summer's pattern may be repeating itself. Instead of Walker Kessler, a 5-star recruit, returning for his sophomore season, the Tar Heels got an impactful fifth season from Oklahoma transfer Brady Manek. This season, instead of getting 5-star forward G.G. Jackson for one season as a freshman, UNC is getting Northwestern transfer Pete Nance.
