LSU basketball lands first commitment in Class of 2023 with four-star forward Corey Chest

New Orleans native Corey Chest Jr. left his home state to complete his high school career in Missouri. The 4-star forward plans to return home to begin his college basketball career. Chest became the first commitment in LSU’s 2023 class. Chest, the nation’s No. 62 overall recruit, selected LSU over Kansas, Houston, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss.
