Top-50 senior guard DeShawn Harris-Smith commits to Maryland

Fairfax (Va.) Paul VI Catholic 4-star recruit DeShawn Harris-Smith has committed to Maryland. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard chose the hometown Terrapins over Villanova, Indiana, Xavier, and Penn State. Smith is the No. 60 overall prospect in the 2023 class. This summer, the DMV native averaged 12.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
