Hakeem Nicks has a lot on his mind as the 2008 season gets under way. North Carolina’s junior receiver thinks about his standing in the school record books where he’s in range of becoming the all-time pass catcher. He has visions of establishing himself as a contender for the Heisman Trophy, and way in the back of his mind he’s wondering if he’ll be ready to make the jump early to the National Football League after this season.
