T.J. Yates has improved on the field by putting in more time in the video room

T.J. Yates can disparage his football IQ of a year ago because of the intellectual growth he's made since the season ended. Unable to participate in spring practice because of a bum shoulder, Yates retreated to the cozy confines of UNC's quarterbacks room, where he fired up the computer, dimmed the lights and immersed himself into opposing defenses for hours on end.
