Goddard's quick hands steal one away
Posted Sep 28, 2008
Miami wide receiver Kayne Farquharson had a victory in his hands Saturday afternoon. UNC safety Trimane Goddard took it away. With no time left on the clock at Dolphin Stadium, a pass from Hurricanes quarterback Robert Marve skipped off Farquharson's fingertips -- and into the grasp of Goddard, who had already intercepted a pass earlier in the fourth quarter. The play was the exclamation point to a 14-point, come-from-behind victory for the Tar Heels.
