UNC men's basketball has played six Quad 1 games, but Tar Heels need 'good wins'


The loss at Pittsburgh made the Tar Heels' return to the AP Top 25 college basketball poll brief. But the good news is that the setback came in a Quad 1 game and can be classified as a "good loss" for NCAA tournament resume purposes. UNC is one of six teams that has played an NCAA-high six Quad 1 games, but its record in those games is just 1-5. (Tar Heel Tribune)
