Durham Jordan Running Back Jerrell Rhodes commits to Tar Heels
Posted Oct 1, 2008
Jerrell Rhodes' quick rise to major-college football recruit at Durham's Jordan High School ended Monday night when he committed to North Carolina. Rhodes, a 5-9, 195-pound running back, didn't begin to attract scholarship offers until the summer before this season, his senior year. He had no scholarship offers in April but by July, North Carolina, East Carolina, Illinois, Akron and Ball State decided that they wanted him in their programs.
