With UNC Football's Defensive Staff Likely Set, Improvements Up Front Required for 2023

North Carolina announced the hiring of cornerbacks coach Jason Jones on Monday in a move that likely completes Mack Brown’s coaching staff for the 2023 football season. Defensive line coach Tim Cross is expected to be retained, according to Inside Carolina sources. Jones is replacing Tar Heel Hall of Famer Dre Bly, who proved to be an elite recruiter.
