UNC Basketball commit Drake Powell scores 1,000th career point

Northwood junior forward and North Carolina Basketball commit Drake Powell notched his 1,000th career point on Tuesday night. In a home game against Cedar Ridge, the prolific scorer put up 24 points to get him to the milestone. This season, the Chargers are one of the state's top teams at 16-2 as Powell averages a career-best 18.3 points per game.
