Trimane Goddard: right place, right time

There were moments in 2006 when UNC safety wondered if he'd ever return to the football field. He never imagined back then that two bad breaks -- he twice broke a bone in his foot -- could ultimately turn into a good one. Indeed, if the breaks hadn't forced him to sit out a season two years ago, Goddard wouldn't be in the program now -- and tied for the national lead in interceptions, enjoying the team's first ranking of his career and preparing to face Notre Dame on Saturday.
