Trimane Goddard: right place, right time

There were moments in 2006 when UNC safety Trimane Goddard wondered if he'd ever return to the football field. He never imagined back then that two bad breaks -- he twice broke a bone in his foot -- could ultimately turn into a good one. Indeed, if the breaks hadn't forced him to sit out a season two years ago, Goddard wouldn't be in the program now -- and tied for the national lead in interceptions, enjoying the team's first ranking of his career and preparing to face Notre Dame on Saturday.
