An area of struggle well-documented this season was UNC’s inability to close out games. In the Tar Heels’ 13 losses, they often found themselves in a position to take control of the games, but unlike many teams in the past, the 2023 rendition made mistakes during important stretches, whether shot selection or turnovers, that eventually cost them the game.
