For UNC, no joy in 'Hoo-ville
Posted Oct 16, 2008
The Tar Heels have a wretched history in Charlottesville, losing 13 in a row at the Cavaliers' home stadium. UNC's last win there came all the way back in 1981. Of all the defeats, the 2006 one may have been the most thorough: UNC barely could move the football, and a 2-5 Virginia team outgained the Tar Heels 370-182. The performance was so repugnant that UNC fired John Bunting three days later.
