Michael Merdinger, who was born in Israel and didn’t start playing football until he was 10, had a handful of Power 5 offers but committed to UNC last weekend. "Education is a big deal. North Carolina is a public Ivy League school. That matters a lot to me. What they do offensively is amazing. They’re QBU in a way: Sam Howell, Drake Maye, Mitch Trubisky."
