P.J. Hairston Competing In "The Basketball Tournament" This Summer

Former Tar Heel wing P.J. Hairston is returning to basketball, joining the Virginia Dream for The Basketball Tournament this summer. Hairston is one of six players announced thus far in the summer tournament, which features a $1 million prize split among the winning team. Hairston retired from basketball in 2018 but participated in the event in 2019.
