How the once-forgotten North Wilkesboro Speedway is getting a new lease on life


As construction workers filed past a faded Winston Cup Series sign at North Wilkesboro Speedway on a recent afternoon, they stepped into a venue straddling the line between abandoned and re-imagined. The once-neglected track is being revived by its owner, promoter Speedway Motorsports, and NASCAR, which will host its annual All-Star Race there. (Sports Business Journal)
