Heels ticked after crusher

When UNC safety got his hand on Robert Randloph's extra-point attempt with less than a minute left Saturday, several Tar Heels thought, for a moment, that it was over – the game, the 27-year losing streak at Virginia, the postseason drought since 2004. But when the ball wobbled over the crossbar, tying the game and forcing an overtime period during which No.18 North Carolina eventually lost 16-13, it extended all of those things.
