Like at the start of the game, North Carolina struck first in the second stanza against Duke. But unlike the back-and-forth first half, this early bucket kicked off a 10-0 UNC run that allowed the Tar Heels to control the final 20 minutes of the game. UNC got seven defensive stops in a row to begin the second half, its longest “kill” streak of the game.
