Ian Jackson scores nine points, two threes as U.S. U-19 team rolls past China


scored nine points and a pair of 3-pointers as the United States team turned back China 92–69 in the round of 16 Wednesday at the FIBA U19 Men’s World Cup in Debrecen, Hungary. The Americans next play the winner of the Japan-Hungary game in Friday’s quarterfinals. Jackson is shooting 63% (7 of 11) from 3-point range for the tournament. (Tar Heel Tribune)
